After a dominating 5-0 win over Galatasaray S.K. last Wednesday, Paris Saint-Germain headed to Le Chaudron to take on AS Saint-Étienne.
The star early on in the match was Leandro Paredes, who seems to be rounding into form as of late. At the 9 minute mark, the Argentine scored a brilliant volley that beat Les Verts keeper Stéphane Ruffier. Here’s the reaction from Twitter as Paredes scored his first for Les Parisiens:

Flush finish by Paredes. The universe rewarding him for his great form as of late.

Paredes has tried that dozens of times. Finally he finishes one. The best stretch of Paredes' PSG run punctuated with a golazo #ASSEPSG

Paredes also took one for the team when he endured a reckless tackle from Jean-Eudes Aholou in the 25th minute and received a straight red for his actions forcing ASSE to play with 10 men for more than an hour.

Red for Jean-Eudes Aholou. Horrific lunge on Paredes. Doesn't look malicious but very dangerous. #ASSEPSG

It was only a matter of time for PSG to take advantage of Saint-Étienne being down a player. Kylian Mbappé had one goal brought back due to being offside; however, near the end of the first half, the Frenchman would make sure that he would get that goal back as he made it 2-0.
Neymar and Mbappe linkup once again. Neymar put the ball through to Mbappe, which converted it into a goal.
Remarkable connection.
PSG is leading 2-0

In the second half, PSG was able to create plenty of scoring chances and as a result, including a penalty shot opportunity won by Neymar Jr. The Brazilian would go on to miss the penalty-kick, which led to some buzz on Twitter as you can imagine.

Neymar missed his first penalty since 2016 if I’m not wrong. It took almost 4 years huh😂

Despite the miss, PSG was still able to flex their offensive muscle as Mauro Icardi would eventually make it 3-0.
To cap things off, Mbappé recorded a brace to make it 4-0 as fireworks were shot from the stands by Saint-Étienne supporters. These are some of the reactions on Twitter as PSG close out the week with two impressive wins in which nine goals were scored.

70 – Kylian Mbappé (20 years, 11 months, 25 days) has become the youngest player to reach 70 goals in Ligue 1 over the last 50 seasons – overtaking Bernard Lacombe who did it with Lyon in 1975 (22 years, 5 months, 11 days). Milestone. @PSG_English pic.twitter.com/IBhPzqFSln

PSG finish off St. Etienne with a really strong 4-0 victory on the road. Goals by Mbappe (2), Icardi, and Paredes (who once again played really well) did the trick. Tomorrow PSG find out who they will play in the Champions League Round of 16. #ASSEPSG
