Earlier this week, it was revealed that Mauro Icardi is Europe’s top goal-poacher. Against AS Saint-Étienne, the Argentine found himself in the right place at the right time once again.

Icardi planted himself at the back post and waited for Layvin Kurzawa to put in his cross. The pass bounced in front of the goal, which elevated the degree of difficulty for Icardi.
Icardi leaped in the air to meet the ball and finished with style past Stéphane Ruffier for PSG’s third goal on the night that all but confirmed the three points for Ligue 1 leaders PSG.
Icardi has now scored 13 goals for PSG in all competitions since arriving last summer on loan from Inter Milan.
