Paris Saint-Germain’s black fourth kit with the Jordan Brand logo was officially unveiled on January 23 and has been a smash hit with supporters in the weeks following.
According to a report from L’Equipe, the jersey was “the best-selling product on the global site of its supplier, Nike.com, in all categories, the week following its release.”
The French publication goes on to reveal that the club sold 6,400 jerseys at its stores in Paris and stock is expected to run out at the end of February.

The black PSG x Jordan kit made its debut on the pitch on February 1 against Montpellier where Les Parisiens won 5-0. The shirt was worn again against FC Nantes where PSG won 2-1.
I have my reservations about wearing a black kit in the UEFA Champions League after what happened last season against Manchester United. I would prefer the team to wear the traditional blue home kit or perhaps the throwback third kit that is white with red and blue stripes.
Superstitions aside, the kit has been a hit with supporters and set the bar high for next season’s designs.
