DJ Snake Reveals New PSG Jersey on Twitter

DJ Snake is arguably Paris Saint-Germain’s most famous supporter and if you follow him on social media, you’ll know that he regularly posts about the club and even comes to their defense as he did with Borussia Dortmund earlier this year.

On Wednesday, the artist revealed PSG’s 2020-21 home kit in a six-second video clip shared on Twitter.

The throwback Daniel Hechter-inspired design isn’t a surprise as we’ve seen photos leak over the past few months. The jersey will be worn during PSG’s 50th anniversary and will no doubt be a hit with fans.

While many clubs reveal new jerseys on their own social media, PSG understands the power of influencers and this is a great way to lead up to an official unveiling. It builds hype and anticipation.

As far as when we might see the players wearing this jersey, I would imagine they would wait until the official start of the next season because it is a special anniversary shirt. They could wear it in the upcoming Coupe de France and Coupe de la Ligue finals in July or the UEFA Champions League in August but I think that’s unlikely.
