Report: PSG to Debut 2020-21 Home Kits Against Celtic

Paris Saint-Germain will have one last friendly to help them prepare for two domestic cup finals and a UEFA Champions League quarter-finals matchup against Atalanta.

On Tuesday, Les Parisiens will welcome Celtic FC to the Parc des Princes, but when the home squad takes the pitch, they could be sporting a different look.

The capital club won’t wait until the domestic cup finals or Champions League to “officially” kick off their 50th-anniversary campaign. According to Le Parisien, they’ll be debuting their 2020-21 home kits against the Scottish Premiership champions.

This month, PSG supporter DJ Snake unveiled the anticipated kit for the club’s 50th anniversary via his social media accounts. When looking at the kit, it’s another designed that pays tribute to that of their past.

With France slowly allowing small crowds into sporting events, we will see if PSG follows through with their other planned celebrations for their 50th season, which included this home kit.

For those who want to buy the jersey early, it appears one US-based store has it for sale on their website:

  1. These preseason game are very worthwhile, just so long as they are used for the purpose of “getting rid of the cobwebs”. Celtic have always used them to “get the legs going”, while other teams use it to try and frightening other teams. But fortunately we know what these Minos are doing. And we are not afraid. Sevco can keep all the wee duddy cups, but when it comes to the real thing???. We know where they will be. Far far behind the Famous Glasgow Celtic, once more!. They keep playing that long playing record, we are going to!!!!. Hahahaha..Bring it on!! Ten n a row!!!.Hail Hail.
