Paris Saint-Germain has displayed a mental strength that comes with going through tough matches and dealing with adversity, whether in UEFA Champions League competition or Ligue 1.
The capital club went into Munich and secured a favorable result against FC Bayern Munich in European competition; meanwhile, in Ligue 1, the French giants didn’t panic and came away with a 3-2 victory, scoring the eventual winning goal with seconds left on the added time.
During his appearance on Canal Football Club, former PSG defender Christophe Jallet spoke about the squad’s mental strength. Canal Supporters would relay his comments.
“They know that they no longer have the right to make mistakes when it comes to looking for things. They are also happy because they knew that if today they had taken a wrong step, lost points, it would have been challenging to get the title with Monaco and Lyon, who could have taken the lead,” Jallet said.
“It was a very, very important game for them. There is a new state of mind that we had already seen during the Final 8 of last season where they collectively really want to look for things, and today, they showed it. in a wonderful way.”
