Paris Saint-Germain reportedly has its eyes on FC Barcelona midfielder Frenkie de Jong. Nonetheless, it seems that targeting the Dutchman won’t be wise since he has no desire to leave Camp Nou.

According to the latest update from SPORT, PSG has expressed interest in acquiring de Jong, with indications suggesting they are prepared to offer €60 million for his services.

Even though there’s interest from other clubs, the 26-year-old reportedly sticks to his decision from last summer – he’s determined to stay no matter what unfolds.

Todo Fichajes reports that de Jong simply wants to showcase his talent and see what role he’ll be given under the new coach.

Current manager Xavi Hernandez is leaving at the end of the season. As a result, it is no surprise that the former Ajax player wants to try his luck with the Spaniard’s replacement.

Additionally, the report reveals that Barcelona faces a dilemma. If de Jong doesn’t depart, they won’t have the funds planned initially for reinvestment in the market. This situation compels them to explore alternative exits for players originally expected to stay.
