After a recent report from SPORT over PSG’s interest in de Jong, transfer window specialist Fabrizio Romano provided the latest on this potential saga. He noted in his column for CaughtOffside that there’s no information about the situation surrounding de Jong so far.
The Spanish media outlet reported that de Jong’s situation is a challenging one. With the Premier League clubs willing to pay €100 million, Barcelona could decide to sell.
In May, Barcelona will have a clear grasp of the Financial Fair Play scenario and the necessary steps to take regarding its expenditures. Deco unequivocally stated that Barcelona has no intention of parting with its top players.
