It is only a matter of time until Ousmane Dembélé joins Paris Saint-Germain. The completion of the transfer is in its final stages before the FC Barcelona winger returns to France.
RMC Sport reports that there’s a total agreement for Dembélé’s arrival. The delay is just due to Barça taking their time to transfer the documents. According to the French media outlet, the 26-year-old will undergo his medicals and sign his contract on Monday.
While the Catalan side is likely doing this to be petty, Dembélé is on track to play at the Parc des Princes.

Nonetheless, with the 2023-24 Ligue 1 season beginning on Aug. 12, PSG probably wants the player ready to go so he is caught up and prepared to start in a few days.
A reason why the Spanish club could be taking their time is a way to get back at the player for his salary demands.
Diario SPORT reports that Dembélé’s agent, Moussa Sissoko, requested that Barcelona should consider a deal that would see Dembélé earn more than €40 million gross per year.
