French Football Journalist Speaks on the Pros and Cons of PSG Possibly Signing This Bundesliga Star

Paris Saint-Germain has been linked with multiple notable forwards as of late, including Eintracht Frankfurt star Randal Kolo Muani.

While PSG football advisor Luis Campos reportedly views Napoli forward Victor Osimhen as the club’s priority for this year’s summer transfer window, Kolo Muani is a player who is reportedly “very appreciated internally.” Eintracht Frankfurt sporting director Markus Krösche is reportedly seeking at least €100 million in any transfer deal involving the French talent.

In his weekly Substack column on PSG Talk Extra Time, CBS Sports reporter and PSG Talk columnist Jonathan Johnson touched on just why Kolo Muani could be an ideal fit for the reigning Ligue 1 champions.

“Kolo Muani is not only a France international, but he also hails from Bondy, which makes him a Parisian child and a dream potential strike partner for PSG’s current star Kylian Mbappe,” Johnson wrote.

Johnson also noted that it would be “questionable” for PSG to complete such a signing considering that Kolo Muani was available as a free transfer last year following his departure from Nantes.

“The Frankfurt man left Ligue 1 on a free transfer just 12 months ago, though, so the idea of paying a substantial fee for him so soon after he was available for next to nothing is questionable,” Johnson wrote.

Kolo Muani has scored 13 goals in 29 Bundesliga appearances so far this season.
