Despite the saga ending early in the summer with Kylian Mbappé opting to sign an extension with Paris Saint-Germain, the talks regarding his future have resurfaced.
On Tuesday, multiple French publications reported on the contract details Mbappé agreed with the capital club to remain in his hometown. The contract would expire in 2024, and only the 23-year-old has the power to extend the deal another season.
As a result, reporters asked Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti about the latest revelation, considering the Spanish club was discussing with Mbappé a deal to see him head to Spain.
Despite the latest news on the France international, the Italian tactician is ready to move on from the topic.
“Kylian’s contract? Still with that (laughs). I give up, I give up, sincerely. We are very happy with our attackers, our young players, especially the young ones,” Ancelotti told reporters (h/t Canal Supporters).
“We are delighted with Karim; he is excellent. But a young player enchants you even more than a player accustomed to the high level. We are very happy with what Vinicius and Rodrygo are doing; they impress us enormously. We are not thinking of other players at the moment.”
