Paris Saint-Germain captain Thiago Silva is reportedly heading to the Premier League to sign a two-year contract with Chelsea FC. However, it appears as though the capital club is looking to making one last effort to keep the services of O Monstro.
According to L’Equipe, people within the club want to extend the contract of the 35-year-old, which likely includes manager Thomas Tuchel.

The German manager spoke after PSG’s loss to FC Bayern Munich in the UEFA Champions League final, where he hoped to talk club sporting director Leonardo over this matter.
However, the 50-year-old isn’t interested in bringing back Silva as he would like to start a new cycle at center-back with Presnel Kimpembe and Marquinhos.
Nonetheless, with the departure of Tanguy Kouassi, who was Silva’s potential replacement, then accompanied by Leonardo wanting to spend money at other positions. Bringing back Silva is a good comprise, according to the French media outlet.
Silva showed that he still has something left in the tank, and it will allow for PSG to spend on other needs.
