Video: The Most Historic Goals in Paris Saint-Germain History

This year, Paris Saint-Germain will celebrate its 50th anniversary and what better way to commemorate the occasion than with an epic video of some of the most memorable goals scored in the club’s history.

The video begins with black-and-white footage of Bernard Guignedoux scoring the first goal in club history against Poitiers during PSG’s inaugural season in 1970 and concludes with a goal from 17-year-old Tanguy Kouassi from earlier this season, which just happened to be the club’s 4,000th goal.

George Weah makes an appearance as he scored the club’s 1,500 goal and fan-favorite Ezequiel Lavezzi netted the capital club’s 3,000th goal.

The best of the bunch had to be the 2,000th goal in club history, which was scored in acrobatic fashion from Jay-Jay Okocha in 1998.

As we all wait for football to return, this video provides a nice escape from the coronavirus crisis that has impacted the world.
