Video: 17-Year-Old Kouassi Scores PSG’s 4,000th Goal in Club History

Paris Saint-Germain’s third and final goal against Stade de Reims was a special one.

After scoring from a corner kick in the 9th minute and an own-goal in the 31st minute, Tanguy Kouassi scored his first career goal for PSG.

Leandro Paredes initially volleyed a shot on target, which was pushed aside by Reims goalkeeper Predrag Rajkovic. The ball bounced off the post and right to a Kouassi who slotted his shot into the back of the net. Not only was it his first professional goal, it was also the 4,000 goal in PSG history!

PSG would hold onto their 3-0 lead to reach the Coupe de la Ligue final for a chance to win their 9th title in club history.

For Kouassi, such a special night could help convince the 17-year-old that he should sign a professional contract with PSG and remain in the French capital instead of joining RB Leipzig.
