PSG Player Reveals What It’s Like to Play For Tuchel After Mbappé Sideline Incident

Paris Saint-Germain takes on Olympique Lyonnais at the Parc des Princes on Sunday but prior to kick-off, Pablo Sarabia attended the pre-match press conference to answer questions from journalists.

The Spaniard has been in fantastic form lately and I expect him to get the start against Lyon with Neymar Jr. out injured.

During the press conference, Sarabia was asked what he thinks of PSG manager Thomas Tuchel and whether he is close to the players.

“Obviously, he is close to us. We have a close relationship,” Sarabia said. “Personally, I am very happy because he really supports me every day and everything he sees.”

“Everything he thinks is not good for me or that I need to improve, he really talks to me and tries to create a good atmosphere,” Sarabia continued. “I think this is the basis for having a good team because having a good team means winning things.”

The question was clearly asked due to the sideline altercation during PSG’s 5-0 win over Montpellier HSC recently where Tuchel and Kylian Mbappé got into a heated exchange over the manager taking the Frenchman off before the final whistle.

Sarabia’s answer didn’t feed the media trolls looking to report on a manager who has lost the dressing room and in fact, the former Sevilla FC forward with 10 goals through 29 appearances for PSG was very professional in his response.

The 27-year-old was also asked whether he is happy in Paris and in Ligue 1. It’s a pretty laughable question because anyone who follows Sarabia on social media will know that he constantly posts photos from around the city as if he’s a tourist. There might not be another player at PSG who enjoys living in Paris more than Sarabia.

“I am very happy here in Paris. Obviously, I needed time to adapt, but I think I am almost done with it. I have not adapted 100 percent yet, but I am very happy here, and I try to enjoy it and give everything in order to win everything. I don’t have any intention to leave.”

Again, nice try French journalists but Sarabia will not play your game.
