In Neymar Jr. and Kylian Mbappé, Paris Saint-Germain possesses two of the most lethal attackers in world football. When they’re both on form, they’re an absolute nightmare for Ligue 1 defenses to deal with as shown in the video below from Dugout.
Since teaming together in Paris in August of 2017, Mbappé and Neymar have scored a lot of goals for the reigning French champions. However, there have only been eight goals scored by Mbappé off an assist from Neymar. One of the reasons for that could be injuries. Neymar has sustained quite a few since arriving in Paris as documented by Transfermarkt and that has limited the amount of time the two are together on the pitch.
Currently, Neymar is out injured for four weeks with a muscle injury per the club’s official website and Mbappé is only just now returning to action following his own muscle injury. Getting these two players on the pitch at the same time is proving to be difficult this season but as you can see in the video when they’re leading PSG’s attack together, the results can be special.
