Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain both appear to be cooling their interest in Napoli standout Victor Osimhen. Over the last few months, the two clubs have been heavily linked to the player, but as the summer transfer window approaches, that might not be the case.
After moving from Ligue 1’s LOSC Lille to Napoli, the Nigerian international has scored 76 goals in 133 games, 65 of which were in Serie A. Osimhen also played a crucial part in Napoli’s victory in the 2022-23 league championship.
Despite these numbers, the Parisians have slowed their pursuit of the 25-year-old striker. As per L’Equipe, the PSG and Osimhen deal is losing momentum. Recent developments indicate that the club has not initiated substantial talks with Osimhen and his team.
Manager Luis Enrique is considering relying on Randal Kolo Muani and Gonçalo Ramos for the upcoming season, while Bradley Barcola may also be an option for the striker position.
