Arsenal Receives Transfer Boost as PSG Joins Chelsea in Losing Interest in Prolific Goal Scorer

Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain both appear to be cooling their interest in Napoli standout Victor Osimhen. Over the last few months, the two clubs have been heavily linked to the player, but as the summer transfer window approaches, that might not be the case.

After moving from Ligue 1’s LOSC Lille to Napoli, the Nigerian international has scored 76 goals in 133 games, 65 of which were in Serie A. Osimhen also played a crucial part in Napoli’s victory in the 2022-23 league championship.

Despite these numbers, the Parisians have slowed their pursuit of the 25-year-old striker. As per L’Equipe, the PSG and Osimhen deal is losing momentum. Recent developments indicate that the club has not initiated substantial talks with Osimhen and his team.

Manager Luis Enrique is considering relying on Randal Kolo Muani and Gonçalo Ramos for the upcoming season, while Bradley Barcola may also be an option for the striker position.

Additionally, a recent report reveals that Osimhen is confident that Arsenal will try to recruit him from Napoli in the next transfer window. The forward anticipates that Arsenal will approach him in the upcoming weeks.

  1. Too risky. More reliable and better strikers are Santiago Gimenez who has scored 20 goals plus 3 years running, or Wertz the Germans player of the year. Wertz is a clinical Finnisher and technical genius, Wertz is a cross between Henry and Bergkamp. They might sell for £90 million which would be a bargain. Wertz a striker aged just 20 , check his amazing goals and dribbling skills on YouTube. Wertz is the Next best striker in world football just second to Mbappe.
