Sunday night saw Paris Saint-Germain secure a 2-0 win on the road against Olympique de Marseille in the most recent Le Classique showdown. However, all eyes turned to Kylian Mbappé as he was substituted in the 65th minute.
The 25-year-old didn’t appear all that happy upon coming out of the match, triggering speculation about whether the Frenchman had made insulting comments aimed at manager Luis Enrique.
Nonetheless, the former FC Barcelona boss humorously stated he hadn’t heard anything, choosing to respond in a nonchalant manner to avoid taking the question seriously.
“I didn’t see anything,” Enrique told the reporter while providing an awkward silence before answering the question (h/t RMC Sport). “Nothing at all.”

Enrique was also asked about the situation when talking to Prime Video and he noted his desire not to answer the question. Furthermore, the 2015 UEFA Champions League winner lashed out at the media outlet.
Mbappé also took to social media to post a cryptic message. The 2018 FIFA World Cup winner posted an image of no captain in the rain while holding the captain’s armband. The substitution drama isn’t over, and hopefully, this doesn’t affect the squad heading into the Coupe de France semifinal against Stade Rennais.
