On Sunday, MARCA reported that a new name surfaced in Paris Saint-Germain’s summer plans: FC Barcelona’s Lamine Yamal. The club’s keen interest in Yamal reflects their ambition for young talent, evident in their whopping €200 million bid for the 16-year-old sensation.
However, the latest information from transfer window specialist Fabrizio Romano is debunking that rumor. According to Romano, PSG has not sent a formal proposal for Yamal, and no talks are taking place at this time.
Romano’s information adds that Barcelona has no plans to sell Lamine as it has prepared a new contract for him in June 2025, when he turns 18. Furthermore, pursuing the teenager makes no sense for the Parisians.
The capital club already has Bradley Barcola and Ousmane Dembélé in that position. PSG spent a significant sum on both players, so it wouldn’t be ideal to spend even more money to clog up a position they already have covered.

El PSG cuenta también con Barcola y Dembélé en esa posición.

This rumor likely came from either the club or the player’s camp to gain the upper hand in any negotiations.
