Leny Yoro is among the top young talents that many European clubs will be pursuing this summer transfer window. Paris Saint-Germain are among the clubs vying for the talented defender, but they’re facing a stiff competitor in Real Madrid.
A report last month revealed that Les Dogues aren’t willing to let the player leave for a fee of less than €60 million. As a result, interested clubs must come with heavy offers if they wish to land one of the top young defenders.
Transfer window specialist Fabrizio Romano revealed the latest regarding Yoro and revealed that the Frenchman sees with good eyes a move to the Spanish giants.
“There’s been fresh speculation that Yoro is now leaning towards Real Madrid as his next destination, and while it’s true that Yoro considers Real Madrid as a fantastic destination, still no decision has been made or communicated yet,” Romano wrote in his column for CaughtOffside.
“It will be crucial to understand how much Lille will ask for in the summer, with their president to decide that later. My understanding is that PSG are also still there and that the story remains open, but Real Madrid are there since October and will be there in the summer for sure.”
According to MARCA’s José Félix Díaz, Yoro has expressed his desire to join Real Madrid to Lille’s leaders. Moreover, the Spanish giants are confident they can secure his signature for a fee ranging between €30 and €40 million.
However, this proposed amount falls short of Lille’s reported asking price for the defender.
