Kylian Mbappé will reportedly be heading to Real Madrid once his contract with Paris Saint-Germain expires in June. The 25-year-old has yet to announce anything official, but it’s widely speculated that he’ll be heading to Spain.
Recently, FC Barcelona president Joan Laporta stated that the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner would disrupt the dressing room or that the club would need to sell a player to offset the cost of his arrival.
Nonetheless, former Italian footballer Claudio Marchisio believes that manager Carlo Ancelotti won’t have any issues integrating the Frenchman into the squad.
“I think he would be delighted and would have no problem lining up all of Madrid’s talents together,” Marchisio told AS (h/t Bernabéu Digital). “He already did it: look at his lineups from the past.”
Former Paris Saint-Germain standout Mohamed Sissoko disagrees with Laporta’s original comments regarding the 25-year-old. Sissoko believes that won’t happen and sees the Frenchman fit into the Real Madrid squad with ease.
Still, all these remarks might be Laporta’s way of dealing with the situation since it might be a while before Barcelona can land one of the players considered the best in the world.
