Lately, there’s been talk linking Paris Saint-Germain to Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford. Rumors suggest the English player could be contemplating a transfer, especially given the potential shake-ups expected for the Red Devils this summer.
David McDonnell from The Mirror reported that PSG was preparing a £75 million offer to sign Rashford this summer. However, this rumor is now debunked, and even Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag addressed the Englishman’s future.
“We did not sign him last season for five years with the intention to sell him now,” Ten Hag told a news conference on Friday (h/t GOAL). “He should be part of this project. It is not a subject we don’t talk about.”
Nonetheless, the Daily Star recently reported that the Premier League club values the 26-year-old at €115 million. If this number is in the ballpark, then it’s likely they have no desire to sell the player, but if a bid that overwhelms them comes in, they might not say no.
As a result, it appears that any rumors regarding Rashford should be taken with a grain of salt. PSG could pursue a winger this summer, but it’s unlikely they pursue Rashford.
