Paris Saint-Germain wants to keep Kylian Mbappé, despite Real Madrid’s interest. The latest information comes from The Athletic’s Mario Cortegana about the options the Parisians are exploring to retain their star.
According to Cortegana, several months ago, PSG presented Kylian Mbappé with various options to remain at the club. The Parisians are offering contracts spanning from short-term to long-term durations, which are still valid.
Furthermore, according to his sources, the journalist remarks that Mbappé wants to maintain his current salary at PSG, which amounts to €75 million after tax, excluding any bonuses.

If Mbappé decides to leave his hometown club and join Real Madrid, he must prepare for an apology tour. El Chiringuito host Josep Pedrerol recently reported that Real Madrid wants to see that the Frenchman has changed.
Real Madrid and their supporters are probably not used to rejections, so it is no surprise that they want the player to make amends for what they feel is a past mistake.
Nonetheless, until PSG’s UEFA Champions League ends, it’s hard to envision Mbappé making any decisions about his future.
