Over the last few hours, Neymar Jr. reportedly asked to leave Paris Saint-Germain. However, the 31-year-old’s father came out to squash any rumors of an exit from the French capital.
Nonetheless, speculation ran wild before his camp stomped out the rumors. There was information from reports linking to a return to FC Barcelona. When speaking to the media, manager Xavi Hernandez was asked about a return of the Brazilian.
“I can’t say anything on names and options,” Xavi said (h/t Fabrizio Romano). “Same for Neymar. We will see what we can do from today until August 31. I can’t advance anything about names.”

Sky Sports’ Kaveh Solhekol reports that the capital club will listen to offers for Neymar this summer.
According to Solhekol, the French giants could accept an offer of anywhere between £50 million and £80 million, depending on who the bidding club is.
There are a few weeks left until the summer transfer window closes. It will be interesting to see if the Ligue 1 giants decide to find a take for the Brazilian. Neymar’s wages off the books would provide further financial flexibility.
