Paris Saint-Germain wants a forward to replace Pablo Sarabia, who left this month to join Wolverhampton Wanderers. Many rumors link the capital club to forwards in these final hours, as the latest comes with Chelsea’s Hakimi Ziyech.
L’Equipe reported on Monday, citing sources (h/t Paris Fans), that PSG is in advance discussions with Chelsea to bring Ziyech to the French capital. The 29-year-old is under contract with the Premier League club until 2025. However, he’s seen his minutes reduced significantly.
The French media outlet also reveals that the Moroccan forward would welcome a departure for Paris, even if no agreement between the two clubs has yet been concluded. When it comes to a possible fee, Transfermarkt has Ziyech’s value at €20 million.
Discussions between Chelsea and PSG are ongoing. Additionally, Ziyech prefers a move to France over heading to Manchester United, which could be due to Achraf Hakimi being on the capital club squad.
In these last hours, the Ligue 1 side is also being linked to PSV Eindhoven’s Johan Bakayoko, so it will be interesting to see if sporting advisor Luis Campos can secure a deal.
