A mere 10 days after scoring a hat-trick against Argentina in the 2022 FIFA World Cup Final, Kylian Mbappe has rescued Paris Saint-Germain in its Ligue 1 home fixture against Strasbourg.
In a chaotic sequence where it looked as if Marquinhos had just scored the game-winning goal of the contest, match referee Clement Turpin instead called a penalty kick for PSG after Strasbourg defender Gerzino Nyamsi fouled Mbappe in the box.
In the late stages of the fixture, Mbappe stepped up to the plate and scored an effortless penalty goal.

PSG picked up all three points against Strasbourg via a 2-1 win.
