Before the UEFA Champions League Matchday 4 matchup against Benfica on Tuesday at the Parc des Princes, rumors began circling over the future of Kylian Mbappé as reports stated that the 23-year-old wants to leave during the upcoming winter transfer window.
PSG sporting advisor Luis Campos quickly denied these reports of Mbappé asking to leave the French giants. After the 1-1 draw between the two squads, right-back Achraf Hakimi was asked about how he saw the France international out on the pitch.
“I saw a Kylian focused on the game and the club,” Hakimi told reporters. “We didn’t talk about that. [The media] are the one who takes things out of context. He is focused on the club, he is happy here. I see him happy and I think that’s the most important thing.”
