Report: PSG’s Projected Starting 11 for the Ligue 1 Away Fixture vs. Reims

On the heels of its 1-1 draw result against Benfica on matchday three of this season’s UEFA Champions League group stage, Paris Saint-Germain will return to Ligue 1 play with an away fixture against Reims on Saturday.

PSG heads into this fixture with a few minor injury concerns, as the likes of Lionel Messi (calf strain) and Nuno Mendes (hamstring) have been ruled out due to their respective ailments. At the least, PSG manager Christophe Galtier is still projected to roll out a formidable starting 11 for the match, as noted by TyC Sports.

Donnarumma; Ramos, Marquinhos, Pereira; Mukiele, Ruiz, Vitinha, Bernat; Soler; Neymar, Mbappe

As PSG will meet Benfica for a Champions League home group stage fixture on Tuesday, Galtier could decide to bench a few of his regular starters against Reims. For one, he could elect to bench Marco Verratti and opt to start Fabian Ruiz in his place for the contest.

As Messi will not play against Reims, it will be up to Kylian Mbappe and Neymar to lead PSG’s attack in the fixture.

Overall, PSG has won five straight fixtures against Reims in all competitions.
