There’s less than a month until the summer transfer window closes, and Paris Saint-Germain sporting advisor Luis Campos reportedly is wrapping up the capital club’s third signing in Renato Sanches.
However, the executive isn’t done improving the squad. Transfer window specialist Fabrizio Romano relayed the confirmation by manager Christophe Galtier’s remarks that there will be “three more signings” this summer after Sanches, Vitinha, Nordi Mukiele, and Hugo Ekitike.
Campos eyes at least three signings this month, and the three positions the executive wants to strengthen are finding a new central defender, a third midfielder, and another striker.
Over the last few weeks, PSG has been connected to Inter Milan defender Milan Škriniar but has yet to reach an agreement to land the 27-year-old. There’s also reported interest in Leicester City’s Wesley Fofana as an alternative option.
When it comes to the midfield, no new target has surfaced, so it will be interesting to see what profile they’ll want for this position. Finally, regarding the striker position, AC Milan’s Rafael Leão and RB Salzburg’s Benjamin Šeško are recently linked to the French giants.
