Report: The Key Reason Why a West Ham Transfer Target is Open to Joining PSG

Paris Saint-Germain and West Ham United are reportedly engaged in a transfer battle over Sassuolo forward Gianluca Scamacca. West Ham is in an “advanced stage” over the possibility of signing the Italian international. Sassuolo is leaning towards West Ham’s offer of €40 million coupled with €7 million in bonuses for the versatile goal-scorer.

From Scamacca’s standpoint, he is reportedly conflicted over which club he would prefer to join.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Scamacca is intrigued by the prospect of playing in the Premier League.

However, Scamacca is also open to joining PSG, as he is fascinated with the club’s project, where he would go on to play with “some of the world’s greatest players.”

At PSG, Scamacca may not be a regular starter for manager Christophe Galtier, although he would have a chance to play alongside Lionel Messi, Neymar, and Kylian Mbappe upfront.

For now, all attention is set on just which club Sassuolo will end up sending Scamacca to.
