Thilo Kehrer could be on the verge of departing Paris Saint-Germain this summer transfer window, and as of now, the destination for the Germany international appears to be Spain.

Spanish publication ESTADIO Deportivo reports that Sevilla FC is very optimistic and trusts that they will be able to take the last steps in the next few hours to start the week and secure the Kehrer transfer to replace the departed Jules Koundé.

Monchi, Sevilla’s, Director of Football, has long admired Kehrer, who he tried to land two years ago, and has been preparing the groundwork these last few months for a possible transfer.

Kehrer’s primary goal is to get regular minutes as a starter to secure a spot on the Germany national team ahead of the FIFA World Cup in November. Furthermore, the Spanish media outlet adds that the player’s family has pushed a lot towards a move to Spain.

Although other clubs are interested, the PSG center-back has already given the ‘yes’ to Sevilla. Also, he has even agreed to lower his salary while waiting for Monchi to advance in the negotiation between clubs.
