On the heels of its convincing 5-1 win over Lorient, Paris Saint-Germain will now meet Clermont Foot for a Ligue 1 encounter on matchday 31.
PSG manager Mauricio Pochettino will once again be without a multitude of notable depth talents, as seven players have been ruled out for the encounter due to injury. At the least, as noted by TyC Sports, the Argentine manager could still feature the likes of Lionel Messi and Neymar for the fixture.
Donnarumma; Hakimi, Kimpembe, Marquinhos, Mendes; Pereira, Gueye, Wijnaldum; Neymar, Messi, Mbappe
Portuguese international Danilo Pereira has emerged as a regular in PSG’s starting lineups as of late. He earned a start in the Ligue 1 win over Lorient, and he could go on to play against Clermont Foot.
Messi, Neymar and Mbappe all shined in PSG’s victory against Lorient, as they each scored in the fixture. PSG sure could use back-to-back keen showings from the trio on Ligue 1 matchday 31.
PSG could end up holding a 15-point lead at the top of the standings after matchday 31 barring the results from its fixture against Clermont Foot coupled with Olympique de Marseille’s clash with Montpellier.
