Paris Saint-Germain reportedly wants to reunite with their former youth product Christopher Nkunku, who has flourished at RB Leipzig, scoring 30 goals and recording 19 assists in 44 appearances in all competitions this season.

This production has not only resulted in the capital club hoping to bring Nkunku back home, but other clubs across Europe are also eyeing the 24-year-old. Manchester United has the France international as a top target; nonetheless, the news out of Germany should make PSG happy.

According to Sport Bild, if The Red Devils want to land the attacking midfielder, they’ll need to qualify for the UEFA Champions League for Nkunku to consider them as an option.

Manchester United currently sits in sixth place, three points away from Tottenham Hotspur, and hopes to secure a win over Arsenal this weekend. The Red Devils need the three points, or else they can be saying goodbye to targets like Nkunku, who want to play in Europe’s top competition next season.

With the French giants already set to win Ligue 1 and punch their ticket to the Champions League, it’s a point in their favor as they eye to bring Nkunku back to Paris.
