Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Keylor Navas is not slated to start in the upcoming Ligue 1 home fixture against Olympique de Marseille, according to L’Equipe.

Navas missed PSG’s recent league fixtures against Lorient and Clermont Foot due to a notable adductors injury. He suffered the injury while with the Costa Rican national team over the recent international break.

In his place, Gianluigi Donnarumma earned starts in PSG’s wins over Lorient and Clermont Foot, which included recording a combined six saves in the victories.

Donnarumma was benched for PSG’s league away fixture against Marseille in the first half of the season, as PSG manager Mauricio Pochettino called upon Navas to feature in the rivalry encounter. The veteran Costa Rican goalkeeper completed a mere one save in the match, as 14 out of Marseille’s 15 shots in the fixture were off target.

Overall, the Italian goalkeeper has logged four clean sheets in 14 Ligue 1 appearances so far this season.
