Paris Saint-Germain needs to upgrade its central defense. Sergio Ramos’ future is up in the air as he could not stay healthy this season, and Presnel Kimpembe can be inconsistent. As a result, the capital club will be in the market for a center-back.
Foot Mercato reports the French giants have made a very attractive salary offer to Chelsea’s Antonio Rudiger, whose contract expires in June. The French media outlet also adds that the 29-year-old has offers from Chelsea, Juventus, and Real Madrid.
However, the offer from the Ligue 1 side is the substantial one from a financial perspective. Nonetheless, despite having a significant offer from PSG, the report states that if he had to choose with equal bids, he would prefer a return to Italy and join Juventus.
It will be interesting to see whether Rudiger decides to decline a salary increase for a return to Serie A. Regardless, The Athletic recently reported that Rudiger wants to decide on his future by the end of this month and put this saga behind him.
