Paris Saint-Germain defender Sergio Ramos will “return to action” following the upcoming international break, as noted by the club’s official website.

Ramos has been sidelined as of late due to a calf injury. He has not featured in a single fixture for PSG since its Ligue 1 home win over Reims in January. The Spanish international went on to miss the Ligue 1 side’s UEFA Champions League round of 16 tie against Real Madrid due to his injury.

Ramos did return to collective training ahead of the fixture against AS Monaco, although he will not play in the match.

Overall, Ramos has only appeared in five matches in all competitions so far this season, as injuries have marred his debut campaign with PSG. More so, the veteran Spanish defender has played in all 90 minutes of a fixture just twice, which includes PSG’s 3-1 league win over AS Saint-Etienne in the first half of the season.
