Brazil already has punched their ticket to Qatar for the FIFA World Cup later this year, and they’re using these final remaining qualifying fixtures to tune themselves for the tournament.
The Seleção took on Paraguay, and Paris Saint-Germain captain Marquinhos, who already had one assist to open up the scoring, picked up another. The 27-year-old’s pass found an unmarked Philippe Coutinho, who would score from a distance.
For Marquinho, it was his second assist, showing he’s rounding into form for the final stretch of the PSG season and the upcoming World Cup.
