There is now a possibility that Paris Saint-Germain could be without veteran defender Sergio Ramos for another key domestic fixture.

As noted by RMC Sport, Ramos did not take part in the team’s collective training session on Wednesday.

For now, it is not known whether the Spanish international will be given the green light to feature in any of PSG’s remaining scheduled training sessions ahead of its upcoming Ligue 1 away fixture against Lille OSC.

PSG is just coming off of the Coupe de France round of 16 elimination at the hands of OGC Nice, which was a fixture in which Ramos did not feature in due to a low-grade muscle injury in his right calf. He suffered the injury during PSG’s training session on Thursday ahead of the fixture.

PSG will have two fixtures left before its UEFA Champions League round of 16 first leg match against Real Madrid, which will come against Lille and Rennes in Ligue 1 play.
