Tanguy Ndombele’s time at Tottenham Hotspur hasn’t gone as he’d planned as the 25-year-old was recently booed during the north London club’s FA Cup match against Morecambe. Furthermore, The Athletic has reported that the midfielder hopes to depart this month.
As Tottenham hopes to find a club that can take on his salary, The Daily Star lists six possible destinations for Ndombele, who will be looking for a fresh start away from the Premier League club.
One of the possible landing spots for the France international is Paris Saint-Germain. In 2019, there were reports about Les Parisiens possibly having an interest in Ndombele, who was coming offer an excellent year with Olympique Lyonnais.
PSG could only consider this move if they saw a departure from their midfield this January. Georginio Wijnaldum is linked to some Premier League clubs, so if the 31-year-old decides to return to a league he’s more comfortable with, then perhaps a deal could be in the cards.
Nonetheless, Les Parisiens aren’t the only French club listed as the English media outlet cites Ndombele’s former club Lyon as a possible destination.
