Paris Saint-Germain forward Neymar Jr. has a new project coming out in collaboration with Netflix. “Neymar: The Perfect Chaos” will be released on January 25th, and it documents the career of the 29-year-old.
The documentary covers everything from the Brazil international’s early days with Santos FC to the €222-million move from Barcelona to PSG. The streaming platform has already released a trailer for the film that will surely attract plenty of viewers as there are many football fans fascinated with the career of Neymar.
“I would start by talking about my actions, and I would pass judgment on myself. Neymar is a monster and all that. I would tell my story and change everything, then everyone who broke me would see who I am,” Neymar says in the trailer.
Neymar Jr is a very unique player. I recognize that not all footballers are the same, but Neymar is proof that football will always be an unpredictable and fascinating form of entertainment for decades to come and he has inspired so many young players to follow in his footsteps as technically talented and magical athletes who will endow major clubs a lot of beautiful football. This documentary I’m sure will also highlight the dark side of the sport and how fans, media, politics and personal premises always challenges the purity of football, whether it can be dangerous or fun!
