Manchester City’s Bernardo Silva spent time as a teammate of Kylian Mbappé during their stint with AS Monaco. The two players won Ligue 1 in 2016-17, dethroning Paris Saint-Germain, who had won the league for four straight seasons.
The 27-year-old appeared on the CBS Sports Golazo platform playing “Guess the Teammate,” revealing some information on Mbappé when the two played together for Monaco. Silva stated that during their time as teammates, he knew the 23-year-old had something special.
“I knew Kylian Mbappé was different from the start,” Silva said. “Normally, when you’re 16, you’re a little afraid of the older ones. Him, he approached the defenders and killed them (by dribbling).”
