Paris Saint-Germain defender Sergio Ramos has not featured in the team’s last three fixtures in all competitions, and there is a possibility that he could be ruled out from another pivotal match.
Ramos did not take part in PSG’s collective training session on Thursday, as noted by Le Parisien. The veteran Spanish defender continued his recovery work during the day, as he is still dealing with muscle fatigue.
For now, Ramos is an early doubt for PSG’s upcoming Ligue 1 home fixture against AS Monaco. If he is unable to go for this key league match, then Brazilian defender Marquinhos is slated to once again lead PSG’s backline.
The Spanish defender made his PSG debut in the away league fixture against AS Saint-Etienne. He has since gone on to miss PSG’s last fixtures in all competitions due to muscle fatigue, which include the recent UEFA Champions League home group stage match against Club Brugge.
PSG is aiming for a key league win over Monaco on matchday 18.
