Presnel Kimpembe Launches Auction Fundraiser to Help Haitians

Athletes numerous times want to give back to communities and help those in need through various charities or creating their foundation. Paris Saint-Germain defender Presnel Kimpembe is taking this initiative by creating his charity foundation called STRONG3R.

Kimpembe plans to help those from his neighborhood of Beaumont-sur-Oise. However, the 26-year-old plans to help those in Haiti due to his connection with the country since it’s where Kimpembe’s mother was born.

“The Haitian people need our help. (…) To give Haitians strength, I decided to join MSF by supporting their projects there. (…) Thank you to my friends from the world of sport and the arts. All of the funds collected will be donated to MSF to support their actions in Haiti,” Kimpembe said.

Over the last few years, Haitians have dealt with various issues surrounding their country, whether natural disasters, political, economic, and institutional crises. As a result, the PSG defender partnered with Doctors Without Borders announced the initiative at a gala.

Kimepembe had an auction to help raise funds with 39 objects belonging to artists and athletes, such as the jerseys belonging to Kylian Mbappé, Marquinhos, or even Karim Benzema and Kevin De Bruyne. The auction will end on November 8th

Plenty of PSG teammates were in attendance like Alexandre Letellier, Thilo Kehrer, Danilo Pereira, Abdou Diallo, Rafinha, Idrissa Gueye, and Colin Dagba to support Kimpembe’s initiative.
