Paris Saint-Germain fell to Manchester City last season in the UEFA Champions League semi-finals. The Premier League side’s depth proved to be a factor over the 180 minutes. However, this summer, the capital club added players to strengthen areas further and push others to be considered depth.
As a result, this new squad is different than the one Manchester City defeated, which is what forward Riyad Mahrez emphasized during his press conference with the media ahead of Tuesday night’s matchup.
“I think it will be a different game. The teams are a bit the same, but last year it was a semi-final and without supporters,” Mahrez said.
