Paris Saint-Germain wants to offload some players before the summer transfer window closes in a few days. One of the candidates that the capital club wants to offload this summer is Thilo Kehrer.
L’Equipe (via ESPN) has reported that Bayern Munich wants to add their backline and circled Paris Saint-Germain’s, Thilo Kehrer. Thus far, the Bundesliga giants have brought Dayot Upamecano and Omar Richards this transfer window to help strengthen their defense for the 2021-22 season.
However, the Bavarian side wants to bring in a defender with some versatility. Kehrer can play both in the central defense and right-back, so it fits the profile the German club looks to add. Furthermore, Kehrer has experience in the Bundesliga, so there’s no learning curve should they pursue the 24-year-old.
No further details regarding what Bayern Munich would be willing to pay for a transfer. Nonetheless, a recent report has also suggested that Kehrer doesn’t want to leave PSG, but it will be interesting to see whether Bayern Munich can change his mind.
