Lewandowski Provides an Update on Future With Bayern Munich Amid PSG Links

Paris Saint-Germain could be in for some major changes with its center-forward unit this summer. Mauro Icardi has been in the rumor mill regarding a possible departure from the club over the upcoming summer transfer window while Moise Kean remains on par for a return to parent club Everton.

Amid the uncertainty of who will be PSG’s starting center-forward next season, the club has been linked with multiple top goal-scorers for a possible transfer move, including Bayern Munich forward Robert Lewandowski.

From Lewandowski’s perspective, he is not completely ruling out a possible departure from Bayern this summer. In speaking to Canal Plus, the Polish striker left the door open to a potential move away from the reigning Bundesliga winners.

“I remain open-minded,” Lewandowski said. “I feel very good at Bayern, the city is superb, it’s a great club. I am always curious to learn a new language, a new culture. But whether it will be in football or after my career, even I don’t know.”

Lewandowski set a new record this past season for the most goals scored in a single Bundesliga campaign with 41. There have been no reports indicating that Bayern would be open to offloading Lewandowski after such a superb campaign, so he may very well stay put at the Bavarian powerhouse for the next season.
