Paris Saint-Germain walked away with a 3-0 victory over Lille OSC as the capital club advances to the Coupe de France quarterfinals. Mauro Icardi and Kylian Mbappé would provide the scoring in the win, but Keylor Navas again showed how valuable the 34-year-old is to the squad.
After Lille received a penalty kick, Navas made his second penalty save in a week. The Costa Rica international prevented a goal as Les Dogues built momentum, trying to cut the lead in half. However, Navas denied them the chance.
“Navas? I can’t speak about the past of the keepers here, but Keylor is one of the best in the world. He’s important and decisive for us tonight against Barcelona,” Pochettino said.
