Video: ‘He Is at a Good Level’ – France Manager Didier Deschamps on Presnel Kimpembe

Presnel Kimpembe has turned himself not only into a player that can play for a club of Paris Saint-Germain’s caliber but also one that has the talent to suit up for his national team.

Ahead of the France national team’s 2020 FIFA World Cup qualifying matchups against Ukraine, Kazakhstan, and Bosnia and Herzegovina, manager Didier Deschamps discussed Kimpembe during his press conference

Canal Supporters relayed Deschamps’s comments on the importance of Kimpembe to France as the PSG defender assumes the center-back role alongside Raphaël Varane.

“[Kimpembe] remains on very good performances with us. Being at PSG, he had a series of matches and confirmed his good form even if he may be less well in a match. He is at a good level, he has matured. He is in good shape. He is one of the four defenders and has rather had a good understanding with Varane. I can also have other associations but it remains on an interesting level of performance,” Deschamps said.
