Report: PSG’s Projected Starting 11 for Ligue 1 Fixture Against Lyon

Paris Saint-Germain will take on Olympique Lyonnais for a massive second-half-of-the-season Ligue 1 showdown. PSG aspires to take hold of the top spot in the Ligue 1 standings following matchday 30 while Lyon aims to maintain its status as a title contender in this season.

For PSG, the reigning Ligue 1 champions will have Neymar back, but the likes of Mauro Icardi and Pablo Sarabia will not play due to injury.

Here is how PSG may line up for this match, according to Le Parisien.

Navas; Diallo, Kimpembe, Marquinhos, Florenzi; Paredes, Gueye; Verratti; Draxler, Mbappe, Di Maria

PSG could end up going with a 4-2-3-1 setup against Lyon, which could see Verratti return to action as the team’s central attacking midfielder. However, Neymar could slot into this role in the second half of the match.

Julian Draxler has been in strong form as of late with goal contributions in all competitions. Thus, yet another Ligue 1 start for the German midfielder may be on the horizon.

With Mauro Icardi out due to a thigh injury, Kylian Mbappe could be called on to start as a center forward against Lyon.

PSG will look to pick up arguably the biggest league win of its season.
